OWH midweek challenge- Die cuts & punches

I decided to play along with this weeks midweek throwdown challenge over on the OWH stars & stamps blog . Goodness knows I've got enough die cuts & punches to play with. :)

I was going through the scrap file & it was either use this paper up or it needed to go. It had been in there for far too long, it was starting to get to beat up to hang on to any longer. I started with OWH sketch #1. Used a QuicKutz die for the tree. The patterned paper is from Creative Imaginations. The cardstock is from the scrap file. The tree was highlighted with Pebbles Pearlescent chalk and then covered with crystal lacquer.

Now back to thinning the stash a bit more. It's time to make a local teacher very happy! ;)

  1. Great Christmas card! The paper may be old, but it looks terrific with the die cut tree. Thanks for playing in our Midweek Throwdown Challenge at Operation Write Home Stars & Stamps!

  2. Considering I never sent 2011 Christmas cards, I should start making the ones for 2012 now! Thanks for a nudge in the right direction. :)
