a holiday thank you

As the Christmas holiday deadline fast approaches for OWH, I wanted to try and round out my box a little before dropping it off with Sandy. Unfortunately, these weren't finished before I made my lastest drop off. I'll either keep them to donate next year or use them myself & make more for OWH later.

These were a really simple card to do. I started with sketch #47 and modified it a bit to fit the stamps a little better. The plaid paper is from Rocky Mountain Scrapbook Co (which looks like is still in business www.rmscrapbook.com). It doesn't look like this piece is printed any more, it's a really aged piece of 8 1/2 x 11 from the stash. The dark green is a lightly textured cardstock. The oatmeal cs is from a bazzill cardstock pack, another old one, as none of it is textured. The stamps are from Stampin' up! Sketch it set. The wreath & sentiment were stamped in deep green colorbox chalk in and then the wreath was heat embossed with clear embossing powder. The eyelets are Making Memories. The wreath was cut out and popped with Sandy's jumbo roll of dimensional adhesive. Ribbon is May Arts & is the only thing that didn't come straight from the stash. I actually bought it just for these cards & used it right away. No aging involved. :) Bows were tied with Bow Easy.
